The City of Sandy Springs, the second largest city in metropolitan Atlanta, is seeking proposals for a Veterans Memorial Sculpture. The sculpture will be placed at the high point of the city’s new Veterans Memorial Park, which is located at a busy intersection across from City Springs, the city’s civic center, which serves as a gathering place for residents and visitors, and features a variety of art, musical, and cultural venues and events. The sculpture will express the community’s gratitude to those who have served in in our military and those who now serve to protect and preserve our freedom.
