Arts New Orleans is requesting qualifications from national and international artists and artist studios interested in creating temporary projection mapping + VJ installations, laser art, or interactive light sculptures & installations. Artists will be considered for new site-specific commissions and may also submit existing artworks & installations that are available for temporary exhibition in New Orleans.

Light must be an essential component of the work. Artists will be considered for 2023 and 2024 opportunities, including LUNA Fête, New Orleans annual festival of light, art, and technology and other opportunities.

This request for qualifications will be used to create a registry of artists who are capable of and interested in creating temporary light installations in 2023 and 2024. There is both a national /international call to artists and dedicated call for Gulf South region artists.
