The artwork will be placed in the Supreme Court's Learning Center on two pedestals, the size of which will be determined by the size of the busts. These pedestals will be placed either in two alcoves next to the bathroom or under two wall sconces a bit further down the wall. This site is meant to educate about and inspire interest in the Illinois Judicial system, allowing visitors to learn about the Illinois courts and how those courts affect our lives.

The Committee is interested in showcasing Mary Ann McMorrow and Charles Freeman. The Illinois Supreme Court is looking to showcase the history of the court, its diversity, and the direction it is hoping to head in the future.

This commission is open to all professional artists, artisans, or artist-led teams that live and work in the state of Illinois.
