Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS), with the Loudoun County School Board-appointed Douglass High School Commemorative Committee (DHSCC), seeks submissions for the design, creation, and placement of an outdoor sculpture for the front plaza of the Historic Douglass High School. Renovation of the school campus is ongoing, and the identified area for the sculpture is in a highly visible location. The area provided for the sculpture is depicted with Exhibits 1 and 2, located on the last pages of this Call.

From the 1941 construction of the school, salvaged metal roofing is available for use in constructing the sculpture. Please contact Donna Torraca at [email protected] for a sample of the metal.
