The total art award is $200,000 to pay for expenses including but not limited to: design, construction, installation, any required permits, engineering, labor, artist fee, sales tax, and insurance.

The commissioning body will raise additional funds for the cost of lighting, landscaping, base footing, and art marker.

Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership (DOKC) and Midtown stakeholders seek an artist or artist team to design, fabricate, and install an original, free-standing, large-scale, site-specific artwork for a downtown roundabout. Located at the intersection of NW 10th Street and Walker Avenue in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the primary goal of this roundabout art piece is to serve as an emblematic landmark for the Midtown District.
