The City of Tempe invites artists to submit qualifications to create artwork for a newly designed recreation and pool facility within the Clark Park Neighborhood. The selected artist will be expected to work with the city, the design team, and stakeholders to create meaningful artwork that can enhance the site and bring a sense of identity to the newly designed facility.

Clark Park is home to a community garden, play area, and recreation center. The current planned park improvements include a community swimming pool, recreation center, new accessible playground, ramada, restroom, basketball court lighting, additional trees, landscape and infield upgrades. In 2018, the City of Tempe gathered neighborhood input on what aquatic amenity was preferred in Clark Park.
