The Orange County Public Art Review Board seeks one or more artists or artist team(s) to develop artwork for the Tangelo Park Community Center to be constructed in Orlando Florida. Tangelo Park is a historically Black community with a proud heritage.

The Tangelo Park Community Center is nestled into a mid-century modern neighborhood, located next to the Tangelo Park Elementary School with an adjoining outdoor recreation center. The site includes an indoor gymnasium and an outdoor pool that will be renovated. The newly constructed community center will feature a multipurpose meeting space, classrooms and offices, while the outdoor spaces will have solar gazebos for community use.

The center's main function will be to provide County social service programs and recreation. The Tangelo Park Community Center is designed to be a multigenerational gathering space to foster community growth through activities and events such as family events, farmer’s markets, art shows and festivals.
