  • Brief Description

The Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture Public Art Program is requesting qualifications from artists for a new public art commission. This is a design-team opportunity to develop enhancements to security access points that will help define the look and feel of the 100 West Washington Building. The chosen artists will work with a team of engineers, architects and other professionals to design the public art features.
100 West Washington Building will include multiple opportunities for artworks integrated into the security barriers, fences, planters and other architectural features. The selection panel will be looking for visionary professionals with the experience to undertake complex projects. The 100 West facility is intended to serve a variety of public safety functions, including Phoenix Police Department headquarters.
