Murals at Mason is seeking artists in DC, MD, and VA to submit proposals for multiple sites inside the Manassas Regional Airport. There are 4 sites of varying sizes. Commission amount will be determined based on square footage and upon negotiations with individual artists. Submissions should be vibrant, colorful, and a notable statement piece that makes the airport a landmark of Manassas/Prince William County. There should be an aviation or aerial theme, including the planes that are flown at Manassas Regional, as well as drones, blimps, hot air balloons, helicopters, and other aircraft. Birds and insects could also be incorporated. Landmarks of Virginia may be included.
