The City of Bellevue seeks artists to design murals for the BelRed Arts District in Bellevue. This opportunity is open to all mural artists living in King, Kitsap, Pierce and Snohomish counties, WA.

This call aims to provide opportunities to local artists that will help bring character, intrigue, and awareness to the BelRed Arts District. This call will cover up to 2,000 total square feet of walls in BelRed. Multiple artists will be selected for murals of various sizes. Selected artists will be compensated at a rate of $25.00 sq/ft, covering materials and labor, with some additional budget available if wall preparation is needed for the specific location. After the selection process and selection notification, City staff will work with artists to site and develop artwork designs for the walls. If necessary, the City of Bellevue will be responsible for obtaining any necessary permits, agreements, and large equipment.
