  • Brief Description

    The 3.5-acre off-leash dog park will open in February 2022 and offer several amenities including a ramada, three fenced areas for dogs, drinking fountain for humans and a bowl for dogs, and shaded benches throughout. Artwork will activate the park and enhance the surrounding community. Artwork may consist of one or a series of sculptures that respond to the park and surrounding desert landscape. Artist will work with city staff and project architect to locate an appropriate site(s) for artwork. Project budget is $60,000, all inclusive.

    This commission is open to experienced public artists age 18 and older residing in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah.
