Overview

Knoxville Colorline (65'x100'x4') is a temporary installation of LED computer programmed light systems. The light sculpture was for the Edward Larrabee Barnes designed Knoxville Museum of Art. This piece consisted of a thirty minute modulating chromatic spectrum. I was invited to create this installation, which coincided with the “Accomplished University of Tennessee Alumni” show “Filament.”

Goals

The goal was not only to celebrate the architecture, though I respect Edward Larrabee Barnes's work very much, but also to transform the museum into a beacon for all of downtown Knoxville.
