Overview
In November I designed and created fourteen Dandelion’s that are located next to the highest building in the world – Burj Khalifa. Motive of the project were dandelions which are present in the nature but are made of acid resistant stainless steel electropolished. My modern form but also relate to nature. They are transferred from micro to macro scale.
They are illuminated by RGB LED lamps.
Goals
The goal of the sculpture was to present the organic form of the Dandelions in contrast to the architecture of the surrounding buildings, and specifically Burj Khalifa.
Process
My role in this project was designing the Dandelions with curved stalks, I was also responsible for projecting the arrangement of the Dandelions next to Burj Khalifa, supervision of the collaborators work, organization of the transport logistics and and installation of the sculptures.
