Overview
Part of a new office construction in the Quartermile development on the grounds of an old hospital in Edinburgh, Scotland; ceiling paintings mounted in place.
Goals
The idea was to combine images of place {Edinburgh} with objects produced on site at CIRRUS(computer chips used for sound) and their commercial application within the context of a ceiling mural painted on triangular panels, and I also treated around a boardroom chalkboard with paintings.
Process
Because I had created a piece for Cirrus at their headquarters in Austin TX previously, the same project manager, and designer, JoDee Benson, sent images of the proposed space and asked me to come up with something that followed the goals above.
