Goals

A rich material palette of marble, stone, linens, leather and timber created a tactile and natural interior environment. These encaustic paintings, being composed of beeswax, resin and pigment, subtly complimented the idea of nature.

Process

Lucasta Partridge-Hicks, Director at Cadogan Contemporary proposed paintings in a collaborative goal to achieve a symbiosis between interior and exterior spaces. The expansive openness and meditative quality of of Yntema's work proved the perfect solution.
