Overview
My first job for Club Quarters Hotels. Total dimensions are 4.5ft x 5 ft.
Goals
The renovations for this hotel were almost complete. They wanted new work, particularly original art that fit exact dimensions above the fireplace.
Process
This project was simple and as usual with all artwork for public spaces, time was limited. I think one of the best things about creative collaboration is that I'm never married to the work. One remains objective about the project because there is a deadline and many suggestions to consider. The last word belongs to the client. Or the client's boss(es).
